While many people identify themselves solely by the work they do, many have another side to their life. As an executive in the technology sector, I love what I do, but I also have a strong drive to explore the less defined world of music, art, and creative writing. I believe I am not alone in this. At one time, it was almost detrimental to one’s career in technology to express and interest in non-scientific matters. The world was divided into technologists and “artsy” types. But this is starting to change, perhaps much as a result of art and technology intersecting in the gaming domain. Our art and technology interests can now happily coexist and examine each other, providing a means for reflection. The publications on this site are offered with no expectation other than I want to share them in hope that others might enjoy reading them. For what good is writing if it sits in a dusty storage box in your basement? I welcome comments about the material posted here. Maybe you dislike or disagree with what I say, maybe you like it, maybe you have no idea what I am getting at. In all cases, I welcome feedback and discussion between us all – ideas grow through communication.
